Campaigns, writing, AI safety, and philosophy in NYC.
I direct field operations and a 200-person fellowship program for a congressional campaign in Manhattan, and I assist Professor Michael Doyle's research at Columbia Law School. I studied philosophy at Columbia, mostly logic and the philosophy of language.
Before this I interned at the Queens County District Attorney's office, fought wildfires with the U.S. Forest Service in Montana, and farmed in Ecuador. I spend my time on effective altruism, animal welfare, AI policy, and fiction, and I lead trips for the Columbia Hiking Club.
